kabbah
‘emotions’ having emotional anxiety; startled; shocked; stunned; shaken; having a sinking feeling.
Kabbah often produces physical reactions such as the heart pounding, the hands becoming cold, and the body trembling, as a thief may feel when caught in the act of stealing. It can also be translated with expressions such as, "a heart stopping experience", "makes the heart skip a beat", "my heart sunk", "that sudden sinking feeling", "broke out in a cold sweat", etc.

Like if there is now someone calling on the telephone...There is a person from within the household who is sick who was being brought to the clinic. I am left behind in the house. When the telephone is ringing, my heart [literally, "liver"] now sinks. In my thoughts, "This is from the clinic now, if [it] is not bad [news], good." When this outcome is seen, [it] is my sweetheart calling me, [he] just now arrived from America. When I hear his voice, I am again stunned.
