The food was given to her, [but] she said, "Lacking." What her mother did, a lot [of food] was given by her. But [she did it] to cause spite to her.
After her mother served her the food, she complained, "It is not enough." So then her mother [angrily] gave her much too much food out of spite.

Bey ya maku sin tag nggoh-na, boh mbal bey nibuwanan ya, ling-na, "Kuppa aku min jatah sokah!" Na, siyan suggaan-na? Baran-na.
He asked for money from his mother, but he was not given [any], he said, "I shall jump from the top of the coconut tree!" Now, whom will he hurt? His body./ Himself.
