verbal prefix indicating focused doer (actor focus) in the active voice.
The doer may be animate or inanimate. The prefix ng- is a manifestation of the morphophoneme prefix N- , which replaces the initial consonant of k word stems, and is prefixed to stems that begin with vowels. See the verbal affix section of the "Grammar Notes".
Ngagow aku bola min si Abdul.
I grabbed the ball from Abdul.
Ya na niisbat eh sigeya magbatuk-batuk, mbal ngisbat kinakan- sigeya.

verbal prefix for nonfocused doer of the action in certain constructions of the agentive voice.
Here, ng- plus verb, is preceded by the agentive marker eh , or by eh plus either a clitic pronoun or a noun. [Agentive is marked by the grammar notation eh, ni- .] When ng- appears in agentive construction, it indicates past action.
Balikin gih eh nu ngongkah.
Please repeat [what was] sung by you.
Please repeat what you sang.
