To promise to give s.t. to s.o.
There is a kapag- prefix used here and gives the idea of not being willing to dare to promise. This is used always in the negative and is used with other words too such buwan, tuli, etc.
Taun balik mura ku dayahan sabap bay ku tinangluan me' bōs ku binuwanan dahatus libu pilak.
Next year I might be rich because my boss has promised to give me one hundred thousand pesos.
daa dari tanglu'
Don't hold me to it.; I'm not promising. (Lit. don't allow it to be a promise).
Daa dari tanglu'. Bong ku mintu takka man K.K., ballihan ta ko gumba.
