piha
N-, si-
-an
-un, -an
To seek, search, look for.
When the si- prefix is used it indicates reciprocal action or a constant/continuous searching for s.t. or s.o.
Luu jama miha kau.
S.o. is looking for you.
Man dilaw ku sipiha ka kau.
Since yesterday I've been searching for you.
kapihān
To be called to give an account for s.t. that is missing; to be suspected (because of the loss of something).
Ni sīn ma bay pina-ntan ningkau, subay listahun oy-oy bay balli nu mari ko ya' kapihān.
As for the money that was entrusted to you, you should keep a list of whatever you buy so you won't be suspected of taking it.
