Kita is a set 1 focused pronoun. When kita is the actor, it is translated as "we" or "you and I". If it is the receiver of the action, it is translated as "us" or "you
and me". If a person is speaking to himself, he will use this pronoun or kita instead of aku . See the discussion in the "Grammar Notes".
