talādo
A diviner (mang-) divines the cause of sickness in someone sick or something that happened.
The diviner drops rice grains into a cup or bowl with water and then covers it while he calls the name of the sick person to call back his spirit. Then he looks at the rice that floats to see where the soul has gone. A cloth is then soaked into the water, and the wet cloth is then used as a cold compress on the forehead of the sick person.
