Slightly-fermented glutinous grains or juice, of rice or more rarely of millet, hābug, or sorghum, gal'ung.
This stage is reached on about the second or third day after completion of the brewing process, īwa; also referred to as munlanu an būbud Sweet fermented grains. Slightly fermented grains are eaten as a delicacy. Juice is sometimes drunk, mostly by women; not considered yet at its prime, see halibū'ag.
