A man's informal mourning name, used during an informal mourning period following a formal mourning period, bālu 2, in observance of the death of his wife.
This name is used for three or four months after removal of articles of mourning, bālu 1, in deference to one who still wishes to display an attitude of mourning by wearing ragged and unwashed clothing.

For a widower (agent muɴ-) to observe an informal period of mourning after a mourning shirt and rattan bands, bālu, have been removed, following a year of formal mourning, as described above.
