This sickle is also said to be used by a mythical being, or perhaps a ghost, to cut off the heads of people. Perhaps it is like the symbol of death in the western part of the world, that is, a skeleton-like figure, clothed in a black robe, and brandishing a large sickle, symbolizing harvesting those marked for death.
