Fibrous cover (that surrounds the base of a coconut leaf and the trunk).
It looks almost as if woven. In older times it was used for making sacks to put rice or coconuts in or as cloth for squeezing cassava or in times of war even for clothes.

Go and get some fibrous cover; we will sew it and put rice into it.
