A sacrifice (of a chicken at the time of death in lieu of a goat).
While the body is still in the house a chicken is ceremonially butchered. If for some reason it cannot be done on the day the death occurred it can be done at the seventh day celebration. A chicken is offered only if a goat cannot be provided.
