A glutinous substance that cooks out of rice.
It bubbles up and comes to the top when good rice is cooked. Rice of poor quality does not have it. In old times people brushed the substance on the warp when weaving a headcloth, to stiffen it.
Niya' kanji'ne pegge' buwas hāp binellakun.
It has a glutinous substance because it is good rice that I am cooking.
