To cause/allow water/liquid to run off or out of s.t. (as when placing dishes in a dishrack to dry, turning an open container with liquid in it upside down, etc.).

The -an imp. focuses on the water that is running off. The pa--un imp. focuses on the obj. that the water is running off of.

Pus nu ngosoan manganan, magti patiisun.

After you finish washing the dishes, let the water drain off of them.
