An exemption stated to a certain individual when talking to several people (in order to exclude that individual from being included in what one is saying). Can be loosely translated as except for.

Tampa ta kam sina labbasakayi tabiya' man si Nne'.

I'm going to slap all of you except for Mother.

Bong ko ngalasuhan sila nabiya' ja ko.

When you're scolding them just exempt those who are not involved.
