A grave marker; gravestone.
All graves have a grave marker on top of them.
With Mapun people two sticks are placed in the ground after the burial. One at the head of the corpse that always faces north and one at the feet of the corpse that face towards the south. The corpse is turned on its side facing the west with its backside towards the east. The marker by the head is bigger than the one at the feet of the corpse.
