Impurity that renders one unclean. There are two kinds. Haras diki' can be removed by merely washing it with water (as human filth, mud, dung, and the like). Haras mehe can be removed only by taking a bath, usually with the utterance of some incantation (as after menstruation, after sexual intercourse, or after giving birth to a chi ld).
If a man has defecated, he should ceremonially wash away the impurity, so he will be ritually clean.
