For someone (agent muɴ-, -um-; s agent maN-) to bind objects (patient -on) together with the use of rattan, a rope, vine, wire (inst i-, paN-), as to bind various parts of a house together; the lip or foot of a basket to the woven body, with rattan; longitudinal strips, odol 3, onto basket ribs, bī'uh 1, to bind pieces of what one wishes to carry together.

After binding, the binding material is secured either by tying, hi'gut, twisting the ends of the material together, pulīpul, or twisting and tucking the ends securely under the band, hu'bit, one or more times.
