lā'ah
For a ritualist, mumbā'i (agent; s agent muɴ-), to cause a spirit (theme -on) to release control of someone (loc ref).
Spirits, especially place spirits, pinādeng, and souls of the dead, lennāwa, are said to take up more or less permanent control, odol 4, of those who are mentally deranged, angaw, simpleminded, bongang, who have epilepsy, oldah, or are deaf and dumb, we'we'. Ritualists release the victims of this control through ritual prayers, bā'i, at which time the controlling spirit is appeased by offering of animals, chickens and/or other personal possessions.
For a spirit or soul of the dead (actor & theme ma-) to release control of someone (loc ref), as described above.
Din nihu'lung an pinādeng, ya awnid indatday pihhu ay hiya ya un malā'ah.
As for that place spirit which took control, not until they gave money to it did it release control.
