A grain-drying pole.
Made of bamboo or wood dowelling, hung horizontally, located at the back half of the house and parallel to the back wall, and suspended by vine or rattan about 5 - 8 cm. from the ceiling joists, dālag. A grain-drying pole hung inside is used chiefly for drying corn or newly-harvested rice; outside, it is hung in any convenient location under the house for drying tobacco.
