The tasbih has a total of ninety-nine beads on a necklace. It is divided into three sections, thirty-three beads to a section. These
beads are used to help the user learn the ninety-nine Islamic names of God. Reciting these names is considered a type of prayer
and is thought to enhance chances of getting into heaven. Prayer beads are also common to other religions such as Buddhism
and Roman Catholicism.
