‘toy’ a taw.
A "taw" can be any small object even a rock will do which is thrown, flicked, or shot, in order to mark or secure a place
in a game. In hopscotch, for instance, each player has his own taw, and when his turn comes, he throws it into the square
into which he is suppose to hop. If the taw gets in and stays in the proper square, the player then hops to that square, picking
up the taw as he goes. Taws are used in various games. A large fancy marble which one shoots in a game of marbles is also
a type of "taw".
My taw was fouled by him.
He fouled my taw. [A "foul" is an illegal move or slip up in a game.]
