Niyah dikayuh sangom, niyah abey magharana ma bowah [mundaan] lumah. Tasayuh eh kami, saguwah mbal bey niungkaran eh kami panandawan. Salaku-laku mbal bey tasayu eh kami.

There was one night, there were persons going side by side serenading at the front door of the house. [They were] apprehended by us, but the window was not opened by us. The pretense was as if we were unaware [of their presence].
