Ergative/genitive set. If the actor is first person singular and the recipient is second person singular the -te has to be used rather than -ku.
Tilewte kew bang ine iyan.
I am asking you what that is.
Bo'ote sa' kew nabu' sumu.

If the actor is dual and the recipient is third person or plural, the -te also has to be used.
Sūng kite duk tilewte iye.

Bang ne kite niya' anak-andate, seddili ne kite duk kasubulten.
When one has a family (lit. one’s child-wife), one (behaves) differently from (the time of) one’s bachelorhood.
