Resin; a light (fueled with resin).
The de'ingan tree (almasiga) has more resin, forming into larger and thicker pieces than the deyindingan tree (yakal). In former times the resin was used as fuel for light before there was kerosene. The resin is found in the forest where these trees have been cut. It is cut into small pieces and made into a round bar of approx. 10 cm in diameter and 50-60 cm long, wrapped in rattan leaves and tied with string. It is a kind of torch.
The lamp of people of old was resin.
