A wrong; a fault; a moral mistake.
A mistake in writing, weaving, etc. would be sala'. For a moral mistake only sā' is used. In most other instances sā' and sala' can be used interchangeably.
Amāhanne ku, bu ga' niya' sā'ku.
He scolded me, but I had no fault.
Pinapatey bisan ga' niya' sā'ne.
He was killed even though he had no fault.

For s.o. to be at fault, be (in the) wrong.
Bang kite sumā' (sumala') subey kite maglilla'.
If we are at fault we should submit.
Magsā' teyima'an kite.
We are misunderstanding each other (lit. we are at fault in receiving).

Labo' iye ensini' bu magsā' (magsala') kellongnen.
He fell earlier and something is wrong with his neck.
