To pound (and push clothes on a stone in laundering).
A wet piece of clothing is taken in a wad and repeatedly pushed down hard onto a stone slab and rubbed. Occasionally it is turned over and water is added. It may be done without soap.
Puppukanun tarapu iyan diyata' batu.
Pound that rag on a stone.
Niya' ne bakas muppukan sawalku tu.
Someone has pounded my trousers.
Magpuppuk la'i kew diyata' batu miya'an.
Pound (the laundry) there on that stone.

To apply water to forehead.
Water that was treated with incantation is touched to the front part of the hair three times. It is done at times when a special bath - administered by someone who knows the right formula - is called for but one is unable to attend, because of sickness, etc.
Muppuk kew bohe' tawal iyan pegge' ga'i kew kapandi.
Apply that treated water to your forehead because you were not able to take the bath.
