pasu'2
A sickness that results from overheating, reportedly.
If children are always taken out into the hot sun or if the mother of a small child is in the sun too much her milk will get too hot and will cause pasu' in the child. If an adult works for long hours in the hot sun he may also get pasu'. One may not take a bath while having this sickness. It is not a sunstroke or heat stroke. A person will get a fever and always feel hot. The cure for it is different herbal medicines pahaggut. Bāhan bulakan and bāhan ingket maye are vines and used as such medicines. They are crushed, soaked in water and the water drunk. The bark of the bewungkilan tree is another such medicine for pasu'.
Eddo'anun pahaggut nakanak iyan duk tahala' pasu'nen.
Fetch some herbal medicine for that child so that his heat-sickness will go away.
