Palī' kew amban lān bang niya' palabey.

Get out of the road if s.o. passes by there.

A'a iyan gey ngalī', iyu' kite gey lumabey.

That person does not get out of (the way); we can’t go past him.

A'a iyan bang ningkolo' diyata' jīp ga'i ngalī'an sawe'ne.

If that person sits on a jeep he does not make room for his companions.

Get out of each other’s way so that both of you can pass.

Lī'anun nakanak iyan duk niya' paningkolo'anne.

Get out of the way of that child so she has a place to sit.

Lī'anku me' a'a iyan pegge' ga'i ku kahāpan si addatden.

I stay out of the way of those people because I don’t like their customs.
