Verbal affix in transitive constructions.
The affix has three allomorphs: i- with stems beginning with l, in- with vowel initial stems and -in- following the first consonant. It is always followed by the ergative marker we' in active constructions.
Binelli kābewin we' a'ahin.
The person bought the carabao.
Ila'it ne we' ne badju'in.
She already sewed the blouse.
Ineddo' we' ne pinahayangin.
She fetched the clothes (from the line).

Verbal affix in passive constructions.
Binelli ne bulakin.
The land has been bought.
Ilabasan ne lahingannen.
His coconut grove has had (the weeds) cut.

Derivational affix that derives adjectives from nouns.
Ilu'ud semmekin.
The clothes are dirty.
Pinilak a'a iyan.
That person is wealthy (lit. moneyed).
Sinabet tana'kun.
My field is weed-infested.
Inolet kennahin.
The fish is grub-infested.
