-an
To place a charm that causes aversion (so that someone will not approach a certain person or place); to cast a spell of aversion on s.o.
If such a charm or spell is placed on a person then that person will have an aversion towards the one who placed the charm or against the place that is protected by the charm. As in the example below, the man will hate to come near his wife. A person never talks about such a charm or spell; it just works that way. A man can also do it to a woman.
Panghilasanne ellanen.
She placed an aversion charm on her husband.
