A boil or blister (with water or pus inside); the head of a boil.
Usually it is just a few or only one blister. They originate from a prick by a thorn. Of a blister on the hand, as from a tool, it is said: ngettup tanganten ‘one’s hand explodes’. A bulan is smaller than an abcess keybubut.
