Verbs used in connection w/ carpentry 19.6

bakbas To cut off small pieces (of wood with short strong motions).
kuliku To make a depression with a spike by forward and backward motion; drill a hole in same manner.
dinding 2 To close s.t. (as putting up a wall); to cover s.t. (as with a wall).
jadjag To break down, dismantle s.t. (said of anything built).
lakbut To pull or take out s.t. (that is firmly fixed in its place).
lagpak 2 To push s.t. into s.t., drive s.t. into s.t.
langkat To disassemble, dismantle (of house, any structure or machine).
lapak To do s.t. firmly or tightly; drive s.t. into s.t. (all the way).
larak To pull down, break down, demolish, dismantle.
limbas To even, level or grade (a board with a knife, removing uneven places).
patli' To solder, repair (to join parts of metal together).
seyring To smooth (the edge of a wooden or bamboo item, with a knife or plane); to take a bit off (so the edge won’t be sharp).
sosok To smooth, or plane (wood) with a drawknife (or chisel-like instrument).
tabla1 2 To split boards (from a log by driving in a wedge); to hew boards (by hand).
taned To split (wood with a wedge).
tangkil To add a piece (in order to enlarge s.t.)
tempos To taper s.t. (as wood, legs of pants, etc.).
tugul To cover the handle of a knife (with a thin strip of pliable material).
ukil To decorate, or carve s.t.
