Verbs & adjectives used in connection w/ rice 09.4

bayu To pound s.t. (such as rice).
bikbis To remove unwanted materials (as threshed out straw from kernels).
bukbus To come out, spill (from the side of s.t., as rice out of a hole in a sack).
katig2 For rice to produce many stalks (out of the original root stock).
dalum (ngandalum) Coming up (of seedlings, lit. making a needle).
di'ik 2 To thresh grain.
eddek To plant (a large field by placing seeds in holes or sowing in rows).
gangu Dry (of seeds).
giling To mill s.t.; to grind s.t.
la'un Old, aged, matured (left over from previous batch).
lugta' Overdue for harvest (of rice).
pagani To reap or harvest (rice).
palid1 To winnow (unhusked rice).
puhi' To dry (seeds in the sun, as coffee, rice, etc.).
suring To harvest (the rice that was left standing during the initial harvest).
tahap To winnow s.t. (with a winnowing basket).
toho' Dry (not wet).
tupuk To break, crumble s.t. (into small pieces); to pound rice.
