umuy
To go to do something.
Occurs as a pseudo-verb linked to a following verb. The affix -um- is part of the derivation; this form is not inflected.
Umuy mumbo''a nan binabāi.
The women will go to dig with digging bars.
A non-affixed form ay2 also occurs with this function. For a description, see sec. 7.5.6. See also ōoy where umuy is cited as an inflected form with the meaning `to go away, go somewhere'.
