mangināat
Men station themselves at intervals along a prepared obstacle barrier, olpod, of the fire-ring trap. When it is known that a pig or pigs have entered the field at night, the vegetation in the area of the path where the pigs have passed is quickly cut and the men light fires at intervals along the fire-ring to prevent the pigs' retreat. These stations are kept burning until daybreak at which time other men hunt the pigs with dogs and spears within the encircled area.
