gāat
For someone (agent muɴ-; s agent maN-) to make a fire-ring trap, gināat, (theme) above an upland field (loc ref -an) with the use of a bolo (inst i-, paN-).

An upland field, ūma, is chosen where a wild pig or pigs have been going at night to feed on sweet potatoes. A semicircular swath of vegetation is cut, above the field, ewah, enclosing about a hectare of land with thick uncut vegetation. This swath is gathered into an obstacle barrier, olpod, leaving an area near the path where the pig enters the field uncut. For a description of hunting a wild pig in a fire-ring trap, see gināat 2.
