A tubular locust basket.
Used for gathering locusts, dūdun; now also used by children for gathering sweet potatoes or corn. The mouth, tīmid, is plugged at the opening with grass and carried horizontally on the shoulder. Also used to store dried corn on the cob. Woven of bamboo, ānoh, būlu, or rattan, uway. About 60 cm. high and 30 cm. in diameter. The body has longitudinal strips, odol 3, with ribs, bī'uh 1, tied to them. A neck is woven with a plain-weave design, pa'an 1, tapering to a lip, bāli, about 13 cm. in diameter, tied on with rattan strips, uway.
