A large relatively flat rectangular cooked-rice basket.
Cooked rice and side-dish food are placed inside for communal eating in the fields, especially during harvest at noontime. It may be used at home for large families; used for storing rice between meals. This basket measures from about 30 by 40, to 40 by 50 cm. with a lid, hū'ap. It is woven of bamboo, ānoh, in a zigzag design, lāga 2, the lip tied with rattan, uway.
