A violent-death chanted prayer.
A memorized ritual prayer recited, along with other prayers, the first three nights during a headhunting enactment ritual, bahbah, and the first two nights of a four-day ritual observance for one who has died violently, bināgung. The prayer consists of a narrative about the moon, būlan, shedding light on those going on a headhunting raid, ngāyaw, and other short tales involving the rice-god spirit, Būlul.
For someone (agent muɴ-; s agent maN-) to chant a violent-death prayer (theme i-) for one who has died violently, bināgung, or for the head of a stick person, kinnāhu, taken during a headhunting enactment ritual (loc ref -an).
