A drainage ditch for a pond field area.
Drainage ditches are manmade. Some follow the contours of small brooks, ūnit. They are up to about three-quarters of a meter wide, stone walled on the sides and with stone floors, dalīpay. They carry runoff rainwater and also irrigation water for flooding pond fields.
