Oh my! There's a fight between two bulls happening there in the plaza!
In the past cattle were set free in December during dry season in order to roam around and find their own food. But before letting the bulls loose, the owners would cause them to fight each other. This was done so that later, when the two bulls met, they would not fight since it had already been determined which one of them was stronger. This practice was commonly done in Villa Fria where there were a lot of cows and a wide space for them to fight in.
