As in Islam, Judaism also requires only certain animals, which are stated as "clean animals" in the Bible, be eaten, and that
these animals must be bled. The Jews also have their rabbi supervise the ritual slaughter of animals, and say prescribed prayers.
Then the meat is considered "kosher", fit to be eaten.
