‘reptile’ house lizard.
This is the ordinary "house lizard", about four inches long. It is not a geko , which is much larger, about ten to twelve inches long and has a square-shaped head. When feeling danger, this lizard will
drop its tail. The discarded tail then bleeds and wiggles, to distract a potential predator. After a few months, the tail
will grow back, albeit, stockier than it was before. But when fighting with its own kind, it doesn't lose its tail.
