patummu
mag-
‘marriage’ to lead newlyweds who eloped to their parents and relatives.
This word is derived from tummu , "to find". Thus, this ritual is done to ceremonially "find" forgiveness. Usually many friends of the couple go with the newlyweds, from house to house as they make their way through the village.
