pamumpun
tools of pumpun hunting.
This word is derived from pumpun , "a worm-like sea creature used as fish bait". Here is the how, what, and why of the two methods of pumpun hunting: Method one uses raw cassava which is grated and put into a small cloth and dipped in the sea at low tide and squeezed so that the cassava juice goes into the hole of the +"pumpun's" nest, irritating the +"pumpun" so that it wiggles out of its hole. Method two uses a stick to probe the hole, open and widen it, and a shovel to scoop pumpun out.
