This is a specific deictic indicating a location near the person being referred to; it may or may not be near the listener.
For example, if there are three people in a room, and person number one is talking to person number two about some place near
person number three, but not near person number two, the listener, the term milu is used to indicate the place near the third person. See the discussion in the "Grammar Notes". Milu seems to be a contraction from the preposition ma and the deictic ilu "there".
