Since modern English does not have a "you plural", sometimes bi is translated "you all". The clitic bi is a member of the set 2 nonfocused pronouns. In Sama Sibutuh, most clitics are not attached to their preceding words as
would be expected, but are written separately for socio-linguistic reasons. See the discussion in the "Orthography Notes".
