bi
1.
you; you all; nonfocused second person plural pronoun.
Since modern English does not have a "you plural", sometimes bi is translated "you all". The clitic bi is a member of the set 2 nonfocused pronouns. In Sama Sibutuh, most clitics are not attached to their preceding words as would be expected, but are written separately for socio-linguistic reasons. See the discussion in the "Orthography Notes". When bi follows a verb it is the nonfocused actor of that verb. Besides following verbs, bi can also follow prepositions tag and eh . See the discussion in the "Grammar Notes".
2.
your (plural).
When clitic bi follows nouns, it shows possession.
3.
yours.
When following anu , clitic bi it is translated "yours".
ndi bi
di bi
yourselves.
When clitic bi follows ndi , it is a plural, reflexive pronoun.
