enchek
Don’t; negative imperative command; used in situations in which the speaker is reassuring the hearer about something, as for someone who is borrowing money who says don’t worry I will surely pay my debt to you. Or someone is sending another person to collect a debt for her but the one being sent is hesitant to go because she thinks the people might not give her the money so the sender says don’t be shy because they will give you the money (because I have already told them that you would come for it). See Eph 3:13. Enchek is also used to state a strong warning. See Eph 5:6. It is used more with peers.
Enchek ka on-adon iy aneng mekcheng i obdam.
Don’t go visiting when your work is not yet finished.[??You shouldn't go visiting....??]
Pan-obda kayo; enchek kayo manbelakbol.
You work; don’t you go wandering around.
