A strong east wind (with strong rain), storm.
It is said that one can prevent a strong wind from hitting the house by placing a coconut grater near the doorway with the sharp blade pointing into the wind. Or one can tie a black cloth around the middle post of the house to prevent it from being blown over.
The wind from the east is strong, perhaps that is a storm.
